What grades are taught at Calvary Chapel Academy?

PreK (2-day program for 3-yr. olds), VPK (4 and 5-day programs), Kindergarten through 8th grade.

What are Calvary Chapel Academy’s school hours?

  • PreK – 8:15 am-11:30 am
  • VPK

    4 Day - 8:15 am - 12:15 pm
    5 Day - 8:15 am - 11:15 am
  • Kindergarten – 8:15 am -1:30 pm
  • 1st through 8th grade – 8:15 am -3:15 pm

Are before care and after care services available at Calvary Chapel Academy?

Before and/or after care services are available for PreK through 6th grade until 6:00 pm each day. Junior high students may go to the CCM Commons after 3:15 pm under the supervision of the school until 6:00 pm.

Is Calvary Chapel Academy accredited?

We are fully accredited school through the Association of Christian Schools International.

What is the teacher to student ratio at Calvary Chapel Academy?

PreK, Kindergarten, and 1st grade teacher to student ratio is 20:1 with a teacher’s aide. 2nd through 8th grade teacher to student ratio is 22:1.

Are scholarships available through Calvary Chapel Academy?

Children’s First Corporate Tax Scholarships (Step Up for Students) are accepted at CCA. CCA now also accepts the Mckay Scholarship.

Is the Calvary Chapel Academy school calendar the same as the public school calendar?

Every effort is made to match Calvary Chapel Academy’s school calendar with that of the public school; however, the public school system provides for several teacher work days, during which school is in session at CCA.

Are uniforms required at Calvary Chapel Academy and if so, where may they be purchased?

School uniforms are required to be worn by CCA students and are to be purchased at All Uniform Wear located on West New Haven, West Melbourne, Florida (across from Olive Garden). Student P.E. shirts and/or shorts are also available at All Uniform Wear

Does Calvary Chapel Academy use a method by which parents may keep track of a student’s homework assignments?

Yes, all teachers use Edline upon which daily assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects may be posted for parents’ and students’ review. Students in 2nd through 8th grade are also provided student planners in which to record assignments.
